Hiring for 1st and 2nd shift. Must be able to work either shift. Overtime may be required.
Starting pay - $15.50 per hour
Shift - 1st - 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M.
Shift - 2nd - 3:30 P.M. - 12:00 A.M.

Production Associate will perform one or more but is required to be able to perform all the following job description as job assignments can be rotated at anytime.
Responsible for transporting a variety of materials to destination. Must be able to pick up and drop off following safety process and procedures for proper transport techniques. Must be able to pass yearly certification tests. Load and unload units and raw materials to proper destination within and outside of plant.
Assemble HVAC equipment subassemblies and assemblies utilizing method sheets, wiring diagrams, instruction sheets and other visual aids, etc. Use hoist or manipulators to lift parts. Lift parts without hoists up to 50 lbs.
Set up and operates on or more machines within a department, performing similar operations. Must be able to read and interpret standard prints and route sheet to lengths, etc. Responsible for quality and tolerance levels of cutting and/or bending of tubing and making any necessary adjustments required on the machine. Responsible for the quality of the parts produced, reasonable care of tooling and equipment, safe operations, and good housekeeping of the areas around the machines.
Cut lumber operating poser saw per simple blue print or as required for custom non-standard crate or box. Constructs crate or box for unit or parts to be shipped. Braces, blocks, and bands as required to protect unit in transit. Does export and domestic packing. Must be able to use and comprehend measurement equipment.
Responsible for assuring that unit is complete before crating which may require installing final parts, cleaning unit, and so forth. Working from standard drawings, crates completed units and labels per blueprint instructions. Maintains daily log concerning number of units crated, lot run numbers, serial numbers and the like. Responsible for assuring the proper crating materials are available in advance and that they meet the specification called for in the blueprint. After crating, places units on trailers or skids.
Regularly performs one or more, but not all, of the following types of gas welding and brazing; copper and brass welding and brazing, utilizing sil-fos, gas flux and silver solder: steel welding, utilizing brass or bronze rods: steel welding utilizing steel rod. Normally assigned to a specific type of gas welding or brazing. Responsible for proper use of equipment, including selection of welding tips, gauge pressures for oxygen and acetylene, and proper nitrogen flow. Responsible for quality of parts produced, safe operation and good housekeeping of work areas.
Fabricate and/or form sheet metal parts utilizing metal working machines to desired specifications Assemble, braze, weld, test and move HVAC equipment assemblies or subassemblies utilizing machines and hand held tools (air guns, nail guns, etc) to desired specifications. Perform preventative maintenance on machines and tools and maintaining good housekeeping in work area as required.

Requirements:
